I have been in the Travel Business since 1981. I started at an agency (Bergner's Travel), that sadly, no longer exists in that location after all these years. I worked there for several years, till I had to leave to stay home with my special needs child. I continued to work from home, until in 1999 I started working at Lakeview Travel in Orland Park, IL. In 2003, I purchased the agency, which had taken a serious hit in the time after 9/11 when people were hesitant about travel. Since then I have seen so many changes in the industry. But one thing that has not changed is that we are here to help you have a wonderful travel experience.
My favorite place to visit so far has been Ireland. I absolutely loved the vivid colors and of course, the people, who welcome visitors with a smile and open arms. I hope I get to go back soon! Another favorite is Disney World in Orlando Florida, or Disney Land in Long Beach California, where I went every year, till the Covid-19 pandemic put a damper on all our travels.
